St.Tiernan's College

At St. Tiernan's College, Metalwork is offered at Junior Cert. and Engineering is offered at Leaving Cert.
Metalwork provides an introduction to materials and process engineering and an insight into associated technology. It is founded in practical activity that seeks to link observation and action with ingenuity and creativity within a problem-solving context.

Engineering promotes an educational understanding of the materials and a knowledge of the processes associated with mechanical engineering. This is achieved through the development of skills and initiative in the planning, development and realization of technological projects in a safe manner.

Our room is fully equipped with equipment specified by the Department of Education.
