The Leaving Cert Geography class from St. Tiernan’s College travelled to Enniscrone on Tuesday 26 January 2010 accompanied by their teachers Ms. Gaughan and Mr. O’ Broin to undertake their Field Study as part of their final exam. This Field Study makes up 20% of their final exam and is compulsory for all Geography students. Weather conditions on the day were ideal for the students to carry out Wave Study, Cliff Study and Shingle Analysis Experiments. The students were divided into groups of five and all teams worked very well together. An enjoyable day was had by all and this day trip proved to be a very worthwhile and educational experience.
